Description

Rufus “Rufe” Snow (1867-1957) was an area farmer, Tarrant County Commissioner (Nov. 1913- Jan. 1918), and married to Jessie Melbourne Snow (1870-1942). They had 5 children together. He built their home on the southeast corner of what is now Rufe Snow Drive and Shauna Drives. The Birdville-Watauga Road was renamed Rufe Snow Drive in his honor. The Snow Heights Addition was also named for him.
