Rufe Snow Drive Improvements
Title
Rufe Snow Drive Improvements
Description
Rufe Snow Drive was an old unimproved country road when North Richland Hills was first established in 1953. Some of the city's earliest businesses were located near its intersection with Grapevine Highway. With the combination of the city growing, development moving north, and the opening of loop Interstate 820 it became clear that the road was inadequate to handle the increasing amount of traffic. Plans to widen and improve the road were formulated and the result can be seen here in 1982.
